I’m Erin, and my husband and I have been raising bees in Northern New Zealand for over 30 years.

This photo to the right is not of me, but of my aunt from back in the 1920s. I guess, beekeeping runs in our blood!

We’ve produced all kinds of honey on our farms, including Kamahi, Rata, Clover, Kanuka and Manuka.

We no longer raise bees on Manuka flowers as there are none close to where we live, but it remains one of our favorites, and we eat it daily, along with several others.

Since honey and especially Manuka has grown in popularity overseas in recent years, we thought we should educate people on the true benefits of honey and how to find quality honey.

We’re not great with computers so this site has been designed by our brilliant computer whiz of a son, Byron. We hope you find it helpful!
